Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Your Role

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee product development projects from concept to completion. You’ll witness products evolve from initial lab prototypes to full-scale manufacturing, collaborating with project leaders, local teams, and international facilities.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Specifying, designing, and optimizing mechanical and thermodynamical systems (e.g., pumps, piping, coolers, fans, valves, sheet metal, castings) using 3D CAD software.

Building and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), performing design calculations, and conducting risk analyses.

Evaluating cost, manufacturability, logistics, and serviceability of designs.

Defining test programs, preparing assembly instructions, and following up on prototype testing.

Interacting with suppliers and ensuring compliance with international standards (ISO, PED, ASME).

Troubleshooting quality or performance issues in production and field installations, implementing permanent solutions.

What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks) is a strong advantage.

Strong affinity for mechanical design, thermodynamics, structural calculations, and international standards.

Soft Skills:

Ability to set priorities, work independently, and embrace fast iterative design processes.

Open, science-backed communicator who builds strong networks across teams and suppliers.

Hands-on, innovative, and growth-oriented mindset with a "can-do" attitude and strong ownership.

Language: Fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
