Sales Manager

A well-established European aluminium manufacturer is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to support its continued growth across the Dutch and German markets.

The company delivers engineered aluminium extrusion solutions to customers across the construction, mobility, automotive and wider industrial sectors. Its comprehensive aluminium capabilities include aluminium extrusion, machining, surface finishing, assembly and supply-chain services.

Based in Belgium, you will take commercial responsibility for developing existing aluminium customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout the Netherlands and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of aluminium customers across the Dutch and German markets
• Build long-term relationships with customers across the aluminium, construction, mobility, automotive and industrial sectors
• Identify and secure new business opportunities for aluminium extrusion and aluminium processing solutions
• Develop the market through proactive business development, networking and customer visits
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across aluminium machining, surface finishing, assembly and value-added services
• Translate technical aluminium requirements into commercially viable customer solutions
• Prepare tailored quotations and lead pricing and contract negotiations
• Oversee commercial projects, including pricing, timelines, cost control and change management
• Work closely with aluminium production, engineering, supply chain and senior sales teams

Candidate profile

• Proven B2B sales, business development or account management experience within aluminium, metals or technical manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of aluminium extrusion or aluminium processing would be highly advantageous xlxgzvr
• Commercially driven with a proven ability to develop new customers and grow existing accounts
• Confident managing technical discussions and complex commercial negotiations
• Able to work independently across an international territory
• Based in Belgium and willing to travel regularly across the Netherlands and Germany
• Fluent Dutch and English; German language skills are highly desirable
• Confident using MS Office, CRM and ERP systems
