Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Java Developer (3 years of experience) to join an agile development and integration team in Brussels for an 8-month project. The role follows a hybrid model, with 50% on-site work and 50% remote work. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, design, develop, test, and integrate valuable product elements.
  • Help the agile team deliver a completed product at the end of each sprint.
  • Collaborate across knowledge domains to complete the sprint backlog.
  • Work according to priorities determined by the Product Owner.
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous learning.
  • Promote improvements in software and hardware delivery speed and operational quality.


Must-Have Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of microservices.
  • Cloud development skills.
  • Excellent understanding of hardware, operating systems, networking, databases, and middleware architecture.
  • Knowledge of development methods, standards, security procedures, and development tools.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Proficiency in English.
