The Role

Every yacht we move generates a trail of documents: specifications, booking notes, manifests, bills of lading, insurance certificates, invoices.

This role owns that trail from our Antwerp office. You'll keep our vessel manifests up to date, keep customers informed of where their yacht and its vessel are, collect the specifications and paperwork we need from owners and their representatives, and issue the cargo and insurance documents back to them. You'll be the person customers write to when they have a question about the administrative aspects of yacht transport.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain vessel manifests — the single source of truth for what is on each sailing, and the document the rest of the business works from
• Chase and collect yacht specifications and supporting documents from owners, captains, brokers and management companies, so that nothing is missing when a booking becomes a loading
• Prepare and send out cargo and insurance documentation to customers
• Sent out invoices and follow up on outstanding customer payments and keep that follow-up disciplined and on schedule
• Liaise with our ocean carriers and vessel agents on each voyage

What You Bring

• Experience in shipping, freight forwarding, chartering, port agency or a related maritime discipline.
• Real comfort with Excel spreadsheets.
• Precision and eye for detail. Documentation errors in this business are expensive and visible.
• A service instinct. Our customers are yacht owners and their representatives, and they expect to be answered properly and quickly.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement.
• The self-direction to run your own workload — chasing missing documents and overdue payments is a discipline, not a task someone reminds you about.
• A bachelor degree

Nice to Have

• Exposure to yachting, breakbulk, heavy lift or project cargo
• Familiarity with marine cargo insurance documentation
