AP Manager

Are you ready to take the lead in an Accounts Payable environment and contribute to the further development of a Finance function? A growing international organisation is looking for an AP Manager to join its team in East Flanders.

The position offers a combination of team coordination, operational finance and continuous improvement. You will help ensure a reliable AP service while identifying ways to make processes more efficient and future-proof.

Your responsibilities

As an AP Manager, you will :

• You will guide and support the AP team and help ensure an efficient organisation of daily activities.
• You will oversee Accounts Payable operations and follow up on the quality and timeliness of the process.
• You will analyse operational results and identify areas for improvement.
• You will coordinate with Finance and other relevant departments on invoice, payment and supplier-related matters.
• You will support the resolution of complex accounting and AP issues.
• You will ensure that processes are performed in line with applicable accounting, VAT and internal control requirements.
• You will contribute to projects aimed at improving, automating and digitalising Finance processes.
• You will look for opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen the overall AP organisation.

Your profile :

• You have a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
• You have experience leading, coaching or coordinating a team.
• You have a good understanding of AP processes, accounting principles and VAT.
• You have experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
• You are analytical, organised and comfortable working with figures and KPIs.
• You have good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.
