Production Supervisor - CAR-T Cell Therapy

At Legend Biotech, we're looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily manufacturing of personalized CAR-T cell therapies for both clinical and commercial use.

In this role, you will lead key areas of the production process, ensure safe and compliant operations in line with cGMP requirements, and coordinate activities across multiple teams. From your office-based workspace, you'll maintain a clear overview of the production floor while driving seamless collaboration and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise multiple operational units across the CAR-T manufacturing process, including Component Preparation, Production Support, CAR-T Processing, Filling & Finishing, and Cryopreservation.
• Act as the first point of contact for production-related issues and collaborate closely with Manufacturing Operations, QC IPC, Quality, Facilities & Engineering, MS&T/Manufacturing Excellence, Training, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Quality and Operations within cGMP-regulated environments and play a key role during GMP inspections and external audits.
• Oversee quality-related production activities, including documentation management, batch record review and release, and compliance with cGMP standards.
• Coordinate quality system processes such as Change Controls, Deviations, Events, and CAPAs.
• Ensure team members receive the appropriate training and support a culture of continuous development.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance.

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Bio-Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience within a production environment, preferably in biotech or biopharma.
• Previous leadership experience as a coordinator, supervisor, trainer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and cleanroom operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MES and EBR systems is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, combined with a people-focused and empathetic management approach.
• Flexible, positive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
