Your job as a Senior Business developer

Join our Business Development Team in Gent and play a pivotal role in driving our success. As a key member, you will not only become an expert in your assigned division and product lines but also adopt a strategic, holistic perspective across all divisions – Car, Motorcycle, Power Products and Marine.

Your mission? To identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, propelling our business to new heights. You will achieve this by developing in-depth market and product knowledge and translating these insights into actionable growth strategies. You will plan and coordinate the execution of these strategies, successfully persuading stakeholders and building strong partnerships. Additionally, you will share your knowledge and insights to enhance team dynamics and performance, ensuring we all reach new heights together.

• Market research: build a close connection with the branches and distributors & actively collect information on industry and market trends, competitive landscape
• Data Analytics and growth strategies: analyse with the team complex data and convert into targets and actionables for growth + you define the marketing needs for the product categories and lead in the overarching projects in the team
• Project & Stakeholder Management: you act as a clear project manager (define & track timelines & progress)
• Account Management: you lead the structural meetings with the branches & distributors to find common ground and convince them of new growth initiatives
• Team Support & Knowledge sharing: you derive satisfaction and energy from sharing your knowledge, supporting your team members, and helping to effectively manage all tasks and projects within the team.

Your strenghts

• Your ability to build a holistic view of the Honda business (including keeping up with the new Business Development trends and translate this in clear actionables for growth)
• Master economics/Business or Bachelor with 5 years similar experience
• Expertise in Business development, Project management, SAP & Marketing Cloud
• You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
