Office Attendance: 5 days per week onsite


Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex defence systems programmes, ensuring technical compliance, successful execution, and coordination across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical execution of defence system development programmes throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Translate contractual requirements into technical scope, requirements, deliverables, and work packages.
  • Coordinate systems engineering, integration, qualification, production, quality, procurement, supply chain, and ILS activities.
  • Manage technical relationships with customers, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor programme schedules, technical milestones, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Drive requirements management, configuration management, change management, and technical governance processes.
  • Support qualification, verification, validation, industrialisation, and production readiness activities.
  • Deliver technical reporting and documentation including test plans, design documentation, and technical data packages.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Programme Manager, Systems Engineer, or Technical Lead.
  • Strong background in complex engineering environments including systems integration and product development.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification), and Configuration Management.
  • Experience managing technical stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Fluent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong planning, risk management, and project governance experience.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive, Naval, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of PMI project management methodologies.
  • Experience with requirements management and configuration management tools.
  • Exposure to industrialisation, production launch, and logistics support activities.
