What you will do

• Own and operate core Windows Server infrastructure, with some exposure to Linux environments.
• Ensure the availability, performance, resilience and stability of critical systems and infrastructure services.
• Manage the full system lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, hardening, replacement and decommissioning.
• Administer and continuously improve Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including Conditional Access, RBAC and identity-related services.
• Manage modern endpoint environments with Microsoft Intune.
• Apply infrastructure security best practices in partnership with cybersecurity specialists, including hardening, monitoring and remediation.
• Provide 3rd-level technical support and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Automate repetitive administration and operational processes using PowerShell.
• Contribute to infrastructure, security and transformation projects from design through implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
• Act as a technical reference for colleagues and mentor less-experienced engineers.

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a comparable senior technical role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and identity/security administration.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, including hardening, vulnerability remediation, monitoring and backup/recovery.
• Experience with virtualization such as VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix.
• Understanding of security frameworks and principles such as CIS and NIST.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• A structured, autonomous and proactive approach, with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
• Experience mentoring colleagues or acting as a technical reference is highly valued.
• Experience with Linux, Bash, Jamf or broader Microsoft security tooling is an advantage.
