Senior Java Developer - Open for European candidates

For an international organization in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer. As a Senior Java Developer in Brussels, you will work in a complex international IT environment, contributing to the design, development, integration and implementation of Java applications and enterprise software solutions.

We are looking for a Java professional with strong Spring and Hibernate knowledge who enjoys working on technically challenging projects, system integration and collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.

Candidates must be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java components and reusable building blocks;
• Analyse and support the integration of different information systems;
• Perform data analysis and data modelling;
• Contribute to and coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users and stakeholders;
• Define testing requirements and provide technical support throughout the testing process;
• Support technical analysis, testing, deployment, evaluation and reporting activities;
• Prepare and maintain relevant technical documentation.

Senior Java Developer Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field;
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience;
• Strong knowledge of Spring;
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate;
• Experience with software design, development and system integration;
• Good understanding of data modelling and technical architecture;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural environment;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to relocate to Brussels, Belgium.
