Support Engineer (Junior)

Your role

As a Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our employees regarding IT-related issues. You will ensure the smooth operation of the IT environment by providing technical support, troubleshooting incidents, and preparing equipment for new colleagues.

Your responsibilities

• Provide support to internal users (on-site and remote).
• Register and follow up on incidents through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new employees.
• Manage user accounts and access rights.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Escalate complex incidents to specialized teams when necessary.
• Document solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Management, or equivalent.
• Junior profile with a first professional experience, student job, or internship in IT Support.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and eager to help others.
• Fluent in Dutch and French. English is a plus.
