Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer (5 years of experience) for a three-month factoring reporting project in Turnhout, Belgium. You will validate complex internal and financial reports within a proprietary factoring IT ecosystem. The position follows a hybrid model with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for factoring reports.

Perform functional and data-driven testing of factoring transactions, client data, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Create structured test plans and document execution steps and pass/fail results.

Formally validate reports before implementation.

Identify discrepancies between expected and actual report outputs.

Provide clear feedback to IT and development teams.

Assimilate complex business logic and evolving IT system architectures to maintain robust test coverage.

Must-Have Requirements

Strong knowledge of IT testing in complex IT environments.

Experience with database-driven reporting systems.

Experience with requirements management.

Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.

Good knowledge of workflow processes.

Deep knowledge of factoring processes and products, including recourse and non-recourse factoring, assignment of receivables, and credit limits.

English proficiency.
