You will join a cross-functional environment within a leading Belgian bank, working on a digital onboarding journey for individual clients and associated parties. The project brings together business, KYC, compliance and IT teams across multiple countries, with a strong focus on straight-through processing and regulatory alignment. You will navigate a complex, highly distributed landscape where scalability, compliance and customer experience must go hand in hand.

Your Tasks

• Analyse end-to-end onboarding flows and define clear architectural approaches.
• Ensure alignment between business needs, regulatory requirements and IT solutions.
• Own data lineage, orchestration and key architectural decision points.
• Design and support modular onboarding journeys and integration patterns.
• Collaborate daily with stakeholders across business, compliance and IT teams.
• Propose pragmatic solutions under tight timelines and operational constraints.
• Challenge solutions where needed to safeguard compliance and long-term sustainability.

Your Skills

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Solid understanding of banking processes, KYC and onboarding journeys.
• Experience in solution or enterprise architecture within complex IT environments.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to balance business and technical perspectives.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams.
• Pragmatic mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
