We’re looking for a proactive Account Manager to join a fast-growing European technology company based in Ghent.

About the company

Our client is an international B2B technology company using AI, automation, and digital solutions to help businesses improve their financial and operational processes.

The organization works with customers across multiple European markets and industries and is continuing to grow its international presence.

The role

As an Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and become their primary point of contact.

You will:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Meet clients regularly, both virtually and in person.
• Drive customer retention, satisfaction, and account growth.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion.
• Identify and develop upselling and renewal opportunities.
• Support the onboarding of smaller customers.
• Work closely with Support, Implementation, Product, and Operations teams.
• ️ Represent the voice of the customer internally.
• Monitor account performance, customer engagement, and key KPIs.
• Proactively identify ways to increase customer value.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree.
• 2–7 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or another client-facing role.
• Experience in SaaS, B2B technology, or a comparable environment is preferred.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
• French and/or German is a strong advantage.
• Valid Category B driving license.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Structured, organized, and comfortable managing multiple accounts.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Comfortable working with CRM and customer management tools.

✨ A plus if you have

• Experience or interest in fintech, financial services, credit management, or accounts receivable.
• Experience discussing contracts, financial figures, or outstanding payments with customers.
• An interest in AI and automation within business processes.
