You will play a key role in guiding the growth of our portfolio companies by managing our M&A activities, ensuring the legal soundness of transactions, and collaborating with management to achieve sustainable success. Your contribution Leading and professionalizing the M&A activities within Companions;
Overseeing and creating legal documentation for our M&A activities, including letters of intent, NDA's, SPAs, shareholders agreements, escrow and loan agreements, and executive employment contracts;
Managing governance and corporate documentation;
Consulting and reporting on external law firm collaborations
Providing legal assistance to portfolio companies, potentially with external specialist, including drafting and negotiating key commercial, privacy, IT and eployment agreements and documentation
We are looking for Hold a master's degree in law;
Have an excellent academic track record;
Have 8 to 10 years of experience in M&A or corporate law;
Have proven record time & project management skills, including directing other parties involved in transactions.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Are proactive, and a bridge-builder, seeking compromise and leveraging your empathetic capabilities to facilitate deals;
Are results-driven and motivated to go the extra mile;
Seek a steep career path, with the opportunity to grow into a C-executive role;
Want to achieve maximum impact and are hands-on;
Work in a structured approach, and have the flexibility to quickly adapt;
Are an out-of-the-box thinker;
Are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English, French is a plus.
