About the Role:
In this position, you will play a critical role in leading our supply chain operations, focusing on maximizing service levels, streamlining inventories, and optimizing the utilization of manufacturing assets at our Braine site.
Who You'll Work With:
Joining our team means collaborating with dedicated professionals across various departments, allcommitted to driving improvement and simplification within our supply chain operations.
What You'll Do:
You will lead and manage all Braine Supply Chain operations, from procurement to planning and scheduling, ensuring a safe, green, lean, and compliant approach.
You will act as the primary stakeholder for Global Supply Chain's S&OP processes, making recommendations to meet customer delivery requirements while considering manufacturing constraints.
You will be accountable for procurement processes, ensuring the timely supply of raw materials and packaging components.
You will lead and deliver supply chain-related projects to support our supply chain transformation and overall BTO strategy.
You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the Braine Supply Chain team and beyond, as well as driving/sponsoring selected initiatives
Major Accountabilities:
Planning & Scheduling: You will drive master planning and scheduling processes in collaboration with Global Supply Chain and Production departments.
Leadership: You will lead the Braine Supply Chain department, monitoring metrics for continuous improvement.
Procurement: You will be accountable for procurement processes to ensure timely supply of materials.
Projects & Continuous Improvement: You will lead and deliver supply chain-related projects to support transformation.
UCB Site Supply Chain Sub Business Process Owner: You will contribute to supply chain optimization and standardization across UCB sites.
Performance Management & Compliance: You will develop performance management systems and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Quality & HS&E: You will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, promoting a safe and green working environment.
Education & Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree
You have a Certification in APICS
You have 10+ years of demonstrated successful experience in supply chain leadership roles
Competencies:
You have the ability to translate vision and strategy into actionable priorities
You have strong leadership and coaching skills
You have excellent communication abilities
You can demonstrate operational prioritization skills
You have a very good understanding of manufacturing processes and regulations
You have business acumen and financial reporting knowledge
You have analytical and problem-solving skills
You can demonstrate resilience and ability to work under pressure
You have the ability to demonstrate authenticity in your leadership style
