Your role:
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will lead the team of designers. You are responsible for planning, leadership and team development. In this way, you will make a major contribution to the continued growth and progress of our organization.
Your responsibilities include:
Team planning: Deadlines for design assignments are set at the start of each project. The team leader ensures daily that these deadlines can be met.
Technical support: You are a central figure in making technical support available to your team.
Leadership tasks: You manage the team of about 8 designers spread across the sites (base of operations is Boortmeerbeek).
Standardization optimization: You provide input towards standardization to optimize and where possible simplify standard designs, with a view to efficiency and consistency.
Communication: You communicate daily with branch managers and the sales team about planning, additional information around ongoing projects and clarification of designs.
Your profile:
You have a Master's degree, preferably Architecture or you can present relevant work experience.
You have a first managerial experience. You are not only capable of managing a team, but also like to share in-depth knowledge with your colleagues and have strong organizational skills.
You have a passion for technology
You have experience with 2D and 3D software such as
You work in a structured way and are stress resistant, creative and solution oriented
You have a strong affinity with project management
You speak fluent Dutch and have a good knowledge of French and English.
