Position Title: Head of Marketing (Europe)
Reporting to: VP: Sales & Commercial
Location: UK, with the ability to travel to all UK and European sites

Our operations are comprised of a network of 18 manufacturing facilities, 2 Corporate and Sales offices, and 3 research and development facilities located in the UK, Ireland, Canada, the United States, Belgium, China, and Mexico.
The Role
We are looking for a talented and results driven marketing professional to join IPL as a Head of Marketing covering UK and Europe. This role will require a ‘hands on approach’, strategic insight, with rapid execution whilst collaborating with wider teams across the business. Reporting into the VP of Sales & Commercial and managing one direct report, this role will be pivotal in developing IPL’s marketing strategy within budget, whilst consistently reviewing and improving on the success of the campaigns. Working across multi-disciplinary teams with a vast portfolio of products and customers, excellent communication skills and organisational skills will be required.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): -
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our products and services and increase the IPL brand awareness in our markets
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop marketing campaigns that align with our business strategy
• Create and manage marketing campaigns, including websites, social media and conferences in line with IPL Group guidelines and requirements.
• Analyse marketing data to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay current with marketing best practices and provide insight to the commercial teams
• Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively
• Conduct market research to identify target markets, customer needs and key trends in our markets
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external
• Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce marketing plans to drive online sales and increase brand visibility
The Person
Required Skills:
• Successful track record in senior marketing roles and experience of growing a business through marketing activation.
• Hands-on approach to planning, creating and delivering marketing campaigns and establishing a marketing function.
• Relevant work experience in industrial B2B or experience of the plastics industry
• Proficient in digital marketing platforms and tools and
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and project management abilities
• Detail oriented and highly organised
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel as needed
